Over 95% of cellar doors, restaurants and businesses are open and untouched by fire. We photographed these after the fires taunted the Yarra Valley for over two weeks. The Yarra Valley is still beautiful and a great place to visit.

Dominique Portet has not been affected by fire, we are assessing our vineyard status. Our cellar door is open daily for wine tasting, tours and meals from the winemaker's table.
We have had some minor damage in our single vineyards but we have started picking, and although crops are small we are working quickly to bring in some terrific fruit.
We did not sustain any damage to any of our buildings. We have had some 5-10 acres of vines burned with mid rows, dripper wires etc taking a very hard hit but this in no way effects our Cellar Door.
Buildings, garden and cellar door are not affected… visitors can get a first hand involvement with both sides, the burnt and unburnt while enjoying the latest vintage of our acclaimed Pinot Noir. The vineyard cottage is also still going full tilt.
Fortunately, Oakridge is unscathed by the bushfires, all of our staff are unharmed and thankfully nobody has lost their home, although there were some close calls and anxious moments. Our thoughts are with all of those who have not been so lucky.
Sticks has been fortunate enough to escape with no material damage to the Sticks winery, cellar door or vineyards. Â Most importantly all staff are accounted for and have avoided any personal injury.
Yering Farm Wines has not been directly razed by the fires, thankfully and gratefully to the tireless efforts to stop it coming over and the change in wind direction.
